“The Thinking Man's Party Band...one of the best violinists I've ever seen."
Victor Bonderoff - The Vancouver Sun

Freight Trains Of Intention

In those first and fleeting moments my
my confidence was huge
She thought I might be dangerous but
found only shrinking sugar cubes

While all the other rides
are getting serviced at the station
She flicks a switch on me
derailing Freight Trains Of Intention

On my way to falling madly I
had to plead insanity
I was told to lower standards, but
straight jackets really aren’t me

CHORUS

And I don’t care if my load crashes and burns
If it feels good to Di then number my turn
My mighty engine’s flown off cliffs she’ll never see
and Dinosaurs and Cadillacs won’t outshine me

Under bulbs of dimming bitter those
memories are better dead
But it was not lack of glitter that
snuffed out the flash pots
in her empty little head

CHORUS
